Powerball Ticket Criteria

The ticket criteria outline certain patterns in a lottery drawing.

Position Frequency

This rule describes what numbers are likely to play in 1 of the 5 positions in the powerball. For position 1, it is more likely that numbers from 1-14 will play, for position 2, it is more likely that numbers from 5-28 will play, for position 3, it is more likely that numbers from 17-45 will play, for position 4, it is more likely that numbers from 23-56 will play and for position 5, it is more likely that numbers from 41-59 will play. Using this rule we have reduced the amount of tickets from 175,223,510 to approximately 85,000,000 to guarantee a win.

Three counting number

Even though possible, it is less likely that any lottery system will play 3 counting numbers in a row for example 10, 11 and 12.

Gap of 29

This rule reinforces the position frequency rule, it is more likely that the lotto will play preceeding numbers withinn a certain range, keep in mind though at times it will play numbers outside this range also.

Odd/Even numbers

The lotto systen is known to play a mix number of odd and even numbers, for this rule we will not play tickets with all odd or all even numbers.

Ending in the same digit

Even though possible, it is less likely that any lotto system will play 3 numbers ending in the digit, we will treat number 1 as 01 an so on.

Red Powerball

Only rule applied here is not to play the last previously drawn number and buy frequent numbers more than none frequent numbers.
