Tonight in the Mile High City, the Boston Bruins are +110 road dogs while the Colorado Avalanche are -130 home favorites per BET99. UNDER 6.5 goals is slightly favored at -120 with the OVER at EVEN money.
With Colorado's long list of injuries and horrifying goaltending play, I have to back the Bruins to win on the moneyline.

Boston Bruins ML (+110)
I'm surprised Boston isn't the road favorite tonight against a winless Colorado team that has allowed a shocking 6.7 goals per game, so I'll gladly take them straight up on the moneyline at +110.
Colorado's terrible 0-3-0 start to the season can be attributed to two reasons, the first is goaltending with Alexandar Georgiev who's started all three games and putting up a terrible 0.790SV% after allowing 13 goals on 61 shots, backup Justus Annunen isn't any better with a 4.69GAA and 0.765SV% in two relief appearances – conveniently the OVER (+100 at BET99) has hit in all three of Colorado's games.
The other reason is injuries as they'll be without Jonathan Drouin, Valeri Nichushkin, Artturi Lehkonen, and Tucker Poolman out and now it seems defenseman Devon Toews could miss this game. Those injuries are creating big gaps on both sides of the puck, offensively Drouin, Nichushkin and Toews combined for 159 points in 23-24. It's given Ross Colton a big opportunity to play on the top line where OVER 0.5 points -110.
Meanwhile, Boston is 4-1SU in their last five games at Ball Arena, I see no other outcome tonight than the Boston Bruins getting both points.
Bruins vs Avalanche Prop Bet: Nathan MacKinnon U1.5 Points (+105)
I'm betting that Nathan MacKinnon puts up less than two points tonight against the Bruins. Outlier agrees, showing MacKinnon has also failed to go OVER 1.5 points in four of his last five home games.
Also, consider that MacKinnon hasn't had much success against Boston of late with two goals and three points in five games over the last three seasons. Injuries are forcing the Avs to play Ross Colton on Mack's left wing, and while he's done admirably for a career third-liner, he can't fill the shoes of either Jonathan Drouin or Valeri Nichushkin.
With that, I'm comfortable in betting UNDER 1.5 points for MacKinnon tonight.
