College Football Upsets Of The Week: Underdog Picks For Week 13

My college football upsets of the week looks at a pair bets featuring BYU (+120) defeating Arizona State to keep its College Football Playoff chances alive. Then, I call Vanderbilt (+7.5) to shut down another SEC member as LSU is dwelling on a three-game skid.

In the college football betting world, there's no better feeling than cashing out on an underdog upset and raking in all that profit — and hey, I don't seem to be too bad at it.

College Football Upsets of the week

Here are my upset picks for Week 13:

Underdog Pick #1: bYU (+120) Vs arizona state

And the world is back to doubting BYU. Though, I shouldn't be shocked since they were still underdogs a handful of times even while carrying an undefeated record. The 17-13 loss to Kansas last week is now the excuse to toss the Cougars aside once again. But, why so quick? Alabama has a loss to Vanderbilt, Ole Miss has a loss to Kentucky, Tennessee has a loss to Arkansas — an upset hasn't exactly been a rare sight to see this season.

At +300 to make the College Football Playoff, BYU is still on the prowl for the postseason. Kalani Sitake has led his group to a 5-0 SU record on the road, notably going 4-1 ATS. It's a must-win scenario for BYU, who won't want to throw away a monumental season that quickly.

Underdog Pick #2: vanderbilt (+7.5) vs LSU

Going 3-3 SU and 5-1 ATS, Vanderbilt has been hilariously, unexpectedly giving the boot to its fellow SEC foes. Now, the Commodores are in the perfect position to pocket another upset as LSU is miserably stuck on a three-game skid, going 0-3 ATS in that span, with all defeats by double-digits. Plus, last week's loss to a middling Gators (5-5 SU) program? Ouch.

Vanderbilt won't show any mercy on LSU here and the Tigers will be wallowing in their own sadness with no CFP or SEC championship chances to play for.

What Is A College Football Upset Pick?

A college football upset pick or a college football underdog pick is a wager on an NCAA football squad that is not expected to win, according to the odds. This means that the team is “plus money” or you’ll get a bigger payout if they do win, instead of a classic favorite.
