It's Uruguay vs Colombia for the second semifinal of the Copa America. Soccer experts Nick Holz and I are back to give you a few Uruguay vs Colombia prop picks.
For the anytime goal prop, I'm heading toward the chalk while Nick looks for more value on Yaser Aspirlla (+400). On the bookings front, we both agree Jefferson Lerma gets a card (at great value too at +200). When it comes to corners the UNDER should be the way to go!
Uruguay vs Colombia Prop Picks: Anytime Goal Odds
Michel's Prop Pick: Darwin Nunez +200
Nunez is third in this tournament for xG at 2.3 only Lautaro Martinez (2.9) and Salomon Rondon (2.4) have more. The Liverpool striker also leads the tournament for touches in the attacking penalty area with 30, 10 more than the next player (Vinicius Jr).
Darwin has only faced Colombia four times in his national team career and has scored twice. The last time was in a 2026 World Cup qualifier.
Nunez has scored at least once in seven of the 11 games under Marcelo Bielsa. With no goals in his last two games, the Agent of Chaos is due!
Nick's Prop Pick: Yaser Asprilla +400
Asprilla scored some worldies for Watford in the Championship this season. He's looked dangerous in limited action at the Copa America so far. However, he is the type of player with the speed, skill, and ball progression ability who could come on late and have a huge impact.
Uruguay vs Colombia Prop Picks: Player To Be Booked
Michel's Prop Pick: Jefferson Lerma (+200)
Lerma is back from suspension and he'll be tossed into the fire by having to stop a Uruguay side that loves to transition through the middle of the park quickly. Over his club career, Lerma averages a yellow every third game. But recently for the national side that's gone up with a card in four of his last six games.
This is likely to be a pretty gritty game with a few players getting "stuck in". Expect Lerma to be one of them.
Nick' Prop Pick: Jefferson Lerma (+200)
Lerma has started three games at the Copa America and has already been booked twice. As Colombia propels players forward, much is asked of their lone holding midfielder, but Lerma has risen to the challenge. Look for him to be booked once again tonight at +200 in a huge match against a similarly talented Uruguayan squad. We've seen tactical fouls take over this tournament, and Lerma is a great bet to pick up a card in transition tonight.
Uruguay vs Colombia Prop Picks: Corners
Michel's Prop Pick: UNDER 8.5 (-120)
Neither side has seen many corner kicks in this tournament. In the four games Uruguay has played, there's been an average of four corners by both sides. For Colombia, that number is lower at 3.75.
These semifinal matches are no joke and both teams take care in not giving the other side a free set piece. The first semifinal, between Argentina and Canada, saw only four corners through 90 minutes. I'm sure we see a low total again today with a close matchup between equally matched sides.
Nick's Prop Pick: UNDER 8.5 (-120)
Nobody likes betting the UNDER, however, we've seen matches become particularly cagey as the Copa America has progressed. Tactical fouls have taken on a world of their own, with teams looking to put a halt to their opponent's momentum.
So many corners these days are won in transition, but I believe Colombia has to place more of a ball-dominant, controlling game against a very aggressive Uruguay. I like the under here as both teams look to control the pace of the match.
