Falcons vs Panthers Week 6 Picks

Over 46.5 Points

Kirk Cousins is coming off of the game of his life, having thrown for over 500 yards and four touchdowns on Thursday Night Football last week. Now, he gets a cupcake matchup against a Panthers defense ranked 29th in expected points added allowed on defense.

Additionally, the Falcons rank ninth in explosive play rate (10+ yard run or 20+ yard pass), while the Panthers sit a respectable 20th on offense.

Carolina's best defensive player, Derrick Brown, tore his meniscus earlier this season. Moreover, pass-rusher Jadaveon Clowney remains questionable after hurting his shoulder last week versus Chicago.

On the Falcons side, starting corner Dee Alford is in concussion protocol and linebacker Troy Anderson is questionable. Atlanta may have won the game last week but their defense allowed 6.5 yards per play.

With two terrible defenses battling it out on the gridiron, I'm on the OVER in this Falcons vs Panthers Week 6 NFL matchup.

Falcons vs Panthers Week 6 Props

Bijan Robinson O67.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

As my friend Mitch Bannon has pointed out, the Panthers run defense is historically awful.

They continue to be absolutely gashed by opposing backs allowing nearly 145 yards per now, and now go up against the talents of Bijan Robinson.

Expect Robinson to be far more heavily involved this week in Carolina than in last week's shootout.
