FCS championship Odds favorites: South Dakota state +110

The Jack Rabbits are eyeing a three-peat. Oddly enough, South Dakota State and North Dakota State have accounted for 11 of the last 13 FCS championships.

South Dakota State are 35-2 SU over the last three seasons, including an undefeated campaign last year. However, the two losses were by FBS opponents, Iowa and Oklahoma State. Sure, Jimmy Rogers bench opened the season with a 44-20 defeat to Oklahoma State, but you best believe they've got no issues handling their fellow FCS competitors. Since that loss, SD State has posted whopping 214 posts while conceding just 43.

Again, when it comes down to an FCS schedule, I'm backing the Jack Rabbits all day.

FCS championship Value Pick: North Dakota State (+350)

Since 2011, the Bison have lifted the trophy nine times, obviously the most of any group over the last decade. North Dakota State has already gotten into the swing of things this season, making four appearances and winning three of 'em. Of course, the Bison had a thrilling season opener visiting Deion Sanders and Colorado, falling 31-26. Hey, that's not too bad. But, they've ripped through their fellow FCS foes, riding a six game win streak.

Averaging 37.7 PPG, the Bison boast in the top15 for best scoring offense in the FCS.

Though ND State is arguably the modern dynasty based on number of championships, the program is under first-year head coach Tim Polasek. The 45-year-old will be eager to etch his name alongside the last three Bison coaches who hoisted a trophy in their tenure.
