The Jets are only two wins away from sharing the longest winning streak to start an NHL season at 10 games, but I'm sorry to say Winnipegers, the streak ends tonight. Even BET99 isn't confident in the Jets with -120 odds, a 54% implied chance of winning. 

I don't like that at 5on5 play in their last four games, Winnipeg is averaging a 44% xGF and has been outscored 10-9. If not for the Jets' power play the Flames would have handed Winnipeg their first loss, but unlike Calgary, Toronto can kill a penalty with the ninth-best efficiency at 83.8% so the Jets can't rely on that crutch to win tonight.

I can't get my mind off Toronto's 9-2SU record in Winnipeg since 2017, it's just too damn good to ignore! The last time Toronto was a road dog in Winnipeg (like tonight), was January 27, 2024, when they came away with a 4-2 win.
