The Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics were the lone two teams to cover the spread successfully in the first quarters of games on at least 50 occasions. The Indiana Pacers possessing the strongest OVER/UNDER record in the first quarter of games at 48-34-1 is a noticeable jump from the 42-38-2 mark it held covering entire games in 2023-24. The same rings true for the Orlando Magic, although from the opposite perspective. They're dead last in O/U success in the opening frame, but nailed the OVER far more overall at 37-44-1.
