Saints head coach Dennis Allen became the second head coach to be relieved of his duties after New Orleans's Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Jacksonville Jaguars boss Doug Pederson remains the favorite to be the next man shown the door.
Let's dive into the latest odds on who will be the next NFL coach to be fired:

NFL Next Coach Fired Odds: The Favorite Doug Pederson (-150)
Doug Pederson is still the top name among NFL next coach fired odds, with his Jacksonville Jaguars continuing their sluggish season. The Jags' latest loss was a 52-6 drubbing in Detroit, adding a fourth-straight loss and ninth L of the season.
Unfortunately for the Super Bowl-winning head coach, it hasn't come together in Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence is an uberly talented quarterback, but in year four of his career, he needs to be completing more than 60% of his passes. Lawrence has continually missed downfield throws that would have changed the course of the game for the Jaguars all year.
The play in the trenches isn't great, as Jacksonville ranks in the bottom of the league in both pass-blocking grade and win rate and pass-rushing grade and win rates. More talent would help, but this was the year the Jaguars were supposed to break through. After floundering down the stretch and throwing away a division title last year, and an all-time playoff collapse the year prior, Doug Pederson's days in Jacksonville are likely numbered.
An injury crisis has perhaps bought the embattled headman even more time. However, with a 2-9 record and the schedule not letting up, the Jaguars head honcho is the overwhelming favorite to be the next NFL head coach fired.
NFL Next Coach Fired: Best Bet Mike McCarthy (+600)
It certainly seems like Mike McCarthy has been hovering around the forefront of the NFL next head coach fired conversation since he joined the Dallas Cowboys. But this season, he certainly deserves to be here. And at +600 odds, I think Mike is pretty good value to be the next coach canned.
The Cowboys' season is already dead. They're 3-7, losing five straight games since an upset of the Steelers. Dak Prescott is out for the year, there's no talent around him. We're just playing out the clock at this point. So, why not get ahead of the inevitable and fire your coach Jerry Jones? This season, in particular, McCarthy's offense looks completely discombobulated. Dallas' offensive struggles are reminiscent of McCarthy's final days in Green Bay when his offense repeatedly ran the same concepts and failed to launch.
If there's one saving grace for McCarthy, expectations are now in the gutter for Dallas. With Prescott's injury, nobody is expecting the Cowboys to win, so it's hard for the coach to disappoint. Regardless, the Cowboys are going to have to make a change eventually — so why not now? Could Jones lure Lincoln Riley, who's struggling at USC, to Dallas as McCarthy's replacement?
