What You Need To Know About The 2020 Tour de France
The Tour de France is said to be an ultimate test of endurance and determination, with cyclists from around the world pushing their physical limits in a 21-stage race across the country. After each stage, the cyclist with the fastest aggregate time overall is awarded the famous (or infamous, depending on your opinion of cycling) yellow jersey for the following stage.
The “Grand Depart” is set for August 29 in Nice, marking the first time Nice has been host city since 1981. The final stage will conclude in its usual location of Champs-Elysees as the riders wrap up the 2020 Tour de France on the streets of Paris.

Why Roglic Is The Tour de France Favorite
Primoz Roglic has been on an upward trajectory since making his debut on the Cycling Grand Tour in 2016, winning a stage at the 2017 Tour de France and then finishing fourth overall in 2018. But in 2019, things really took off for the Slovenian.
He managed final podium finishes at the other two Grand Tour cycling events, finishing third in the Giro d’Italia and first at the Vuelta a Espana. That’s why he is the betting favorite to finally reach the mountaintop going into the 2020 Tour de France.
But don’t dismiss Egan Bernal, who was the first Colombian ever to win the Tour de France when he accomplished that feat a year ago. Now 23, Bernal is listed at +225 and in 2019 became the third-youngest Sportsbook ever and the youngest since 1909.
Bernal will try to become the second competitor since 2005 to win back-to-back Tour de France titles following Lance Armstrong’s “run” from 1999 to 2005. The last cyclist to do it was Chris Froome, who won three straight from 2015 to 2017. Froome is not competing in France this year due to his pending departure from Team Ineos and will instead compete at 2020 Vuelta a Espana in October under their banner before moving on to his new team, Israel Start-up Nation.
