The latest 2024-25 English Premier League relegation odds say the three promoted sides are favored to go back down. Southampton is the favorite to be relegated at -286, though former favorite Leicester isn't far back at -175.
Last year was the first time since 97-98 that all three promoted sides faced the drop at the end of the year. By that trend, a non-promoted side will have to go down this year. That's why I've picked Everton at +120.

2024-25 English Premier League Relegation Favorite: Southampton
Southampton came back to the Prem by way of the playoffs taking out Leeds who finished above them in the regular season standings. So of the three promoted sides, Southampton's credentials are the shakiest.
Their start to the 24-25 Premier League season has begun in nearly catastrophic fashion with four straight losses to Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Brentford, and Man United before dropping points to Ipswich in a 1-1 draw.
If Southampton wanted to avoid relegation they needed to pick up points against rivals like Forest, Brentford, and even Ipswich. Picking up only one point from those games, and looking horrible with a combined -2.4 xGD rightfully pushes them to the top of the relegation odds.
2024-25 English Premier League Relegation Value Bets
At -286 it's not profitable to bet on Southampton to be relegated. Here are two bets with a bit more value to them.
Everton
Previously I said Nottingham Forest would face the drop in 24-25, but Everton has been so dreadful to start the year that I've got to change my tune. Sean Dyche's men have yet to win and have the lowest goal differential at -9.
The Toffees rarely have the ball with the lowest possession rate at 37.4%, they've managed only 17 shots on target from 60 shots (a pathetic 28.3% SOT rate), and the fifth-lowest passes into the penalty area at 34. They can't defend and they rarely have a chance to do anything offensively.
What hope do they have of staying up? Everton will go down, and at +120 you could make a tidy $120 profit on a $100 bet.
Ipswich
I think the Ipswich Cinderella story will take a hit this year. After back-to-back promotions, the Tractor Boys will suffer relegation this season.
Like Everton, Ipswich rarely sees the ball with 38% possession, they've managed only 21 passes into the penalty area, and only have 14 shots on target. All are either the lowest or second-lowest rates in the league.
Ipswich has given up the most xGA at 10.9 and their opponents have scored on almost all of them. With that kind of defense, they will be relegated this year. There is no doubt. At -133 their odds still hold decent value. If Ipswich goes down a $100 bet would net you a $175 payout.
Last 10 Years Of Premier League Relegations
Looking over the last 10 years of the Premier League, here are the three relegated sides by season.
*Clubs that were promoted the year prior.
Looking at this list, you get a sense of the struggles that Norwich City has gone through. They've been relegated four times in the past decade.
Fulham isn't too far behind with three relegations in the past 10 years. But unlike Norwich, the Cottagers have been able to stick in the Premier League. With Marco Silva at the helm as manager, Fulham made the EPL's top 10 for the first time since 2011-12.
