The below live betting trends are updated through last year's Super Bowl with 2024 regular-season data for this year's finalists, the Chiefs and 49ers. You can find more specific Super Bowl 58 betting trends on our dedicated page, as well:

  • • The team that scored first in the Super Bowl has won 65% of the time (37-20).

End Of First Quarter

  • • In the last 12 Super Bowls, the leader after the first quarter has won eight times. However, in four of those Super Bowls, there was no leader at the end of the first quarter. It was a tie of 0-0 in three years (2014, 2016, 2018) and 7-7 at Super Bowl 57 in 2023.
  • • Teams leading by 10 or more points at the end of the first quarter are 3-1 SU (75%).
  • • Teams that are scoreless and losing at the end of the first quarter are 6-20 SU (23.1%).
