These reports detail which goalies see the total hit the OVER or UNDER more than any other. So on game day, when each lineup announces their starting goalies check back here before you make your bets for the night.

Top OVER Goalies: Vitek Vanecek
Vitek Vanecek tops the list from the 2023-24 season with a 70.4% OVERs rate. I have no reason to believe he won't be at the top of the list by the end of the 2024-25 season.
Vanecek has bad career NHL numbers with a 0.905SV% and 2.70GAA. Those numbers were at an all-time low last season with the Devils. And now he joins the San Jose Sharks who will be just as bad as they were last season. Sportsbooks have set the Sharks' points total at a laughably low line of 63.5. I'd still take the UNDER at -115. Again, no way Vanecek doesn't see OVERs 60% to 70% of the time.
Top OVER Goalies: Alexandar Georgiev
Georgiev isn't entirely to blame for a 55.4% OVERs rate, Colorado held the best goals-per-game rate at 3.68. With a typical NHL total of 5.5 goals, the Avs offense scores 61% of the goals necessary to hit the OVER.
Then you get to Georgiev himself. The former Rangers' backup put up a poor 3.02GAA last year. A for that can easily make up the difference for the total to hit.
Georgiev might not be the Avs' no.1 goalie with Justus Annunen holding a 2.25GAA and 0.928SV% last year, but even if the Belorussian is a backup expect his OVERs rate to hit above 50%. My confidence here rests with Georgiev's career 2.85GAA. He's not a great goalie.

Top UNDER Goalies: Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
The Buffalo Sabres liked what they saw from Luukkonen in 2023-24 because they re-signed him to a five-year $23.75 million contract ($4.75 million AAV). Specifically in a 17-game sample from December 30 to February 25 when he averaged a 0.935SV% and a 1.77GAA as well as three shutouts.
Surprisingly even though Buffalo wasn't very good last season, they still managed to see the UNDER hit 46 times in 2023-2024. The third-most in the NHL. Luukonen's 2.57GAA is a big reason why.
Lindy Ruff hasn't been a good defensive coach since leaving Buffalo, but in his 16-year stint in the City of Light, he held the eighth-best goals-against record. Maybe with him back in Buffalo and with Luukkonen, we see the UNDER hit just as often this year as we did last year.
Top UNDER Goalies: Sergei Bobrovsky
I've got Bobrovsky here for a totally different reason. I don't believe we'll see him hit the UNDER 66% of the time as we saw in 23-24. Over the past five seasons, Bob has the fourth-highest OVER rate in the league at 52.9%.
I don't like the changes that took place on the Panthers blueline. Losing Brandon Mountour was inevitable but they haven't replaced his puck-moving abilities. That's going to result in more pucks in Florida's end and more pucks thrown at Bob.
Florida will need to outscore their problems next season. We'll see the OVER often.
