Wunderdog Sports Picks

Wunderdog Sports Picks Background

Wunderdog Sports Picks has been in business for 23 years and is operated by Geoff Kulesa, who also provides each pick recommendation. Geoff leans on his educational background in statistics and psychology while handicapping games for Wunderdog, but he’s also passionate about educating bettors on the bad habits of sports betting. Geoff started his business with a small email list of people interested in his picks and he’s grown that list into a successful sports pick service.

Wunderdog Sports Picks Review

The first thing that stood out after signing up for Wunderdog, was the impressive volume of picks that were being pumped out. While the number of picks per day varies, there were some days with 10+ MLB picks and the most I saw during my 30-day trial was a 13-pick MLB slate. Even with a reduced schedule during the NBA playoffs, there were three days I received nine picks in the Association (sides, totals, halftime totals).

The high volume of picks didn’t water down the quality of the recommendations, as I was consistently receiving winning NBA, MLB, and NHL bets. After my 30-day trial was over, Wunderdog sent emails recapping their performance during my trial in each sport and it matched what I was independently tracking. All three sports were profitable during my trial, with the NBA bets being the most impressive (up 26 units in 30 days).

If a successful real estate search is about, “Location, location, location,” then a successful pick service search is about, “Transparency, transparency, transparency.” Wuderdog’s website details the results of its 75,000+ picks over the last 20+ years on its website and it even includes the analysis provided with each pick. In other words, if you wanted to see what Geoff was thinking when he recommended a random college basketball game in April of 2007, that information is available to the public and easy to find. Wunderdog also keeps up with honest performance reviews of itself (win/loss record, units won) via its website and through email and acknowledges losses.

It’s evident speaking with Geoff that he’s passionate about customer service and that passion drips down to his customer services agents (Jarvis, Alex and Nick) who respond to emails and answer phone calls 365 days a year. During my time with Geoff, he got on a little soap box discussing how frustrating it can be to be on the receiving end of bad customer service and I have no doubts he genuinely puts a lot of effort into making sure his customers are satisfied.

The cheapest price point to get Wunderdog’s picks is $40 for a one-day MLB pass right now and the most expensive offering is a $5,499 all-year, all-access pass. There are cheaper pick services out there and there are more expensive ones too, but considering the volume and accuracy of picks you’re receiving, the value is there.

Wunderdog Sports Picks Strengths & Weaknesses

What to expect from Wunderdog Sports Picks

Paying members of Wunderdog Sports receive a daily email for each sport they signed up for. In other words if you signed up to receive MLB and NBA picks, you can expect two emails per day with pick recommendations inside. These emails also contain notes on Wunderdog’s recent performances in sports you might not be subscribe to.

Each pick you receive come with analysis (usually around 7-8 sentences each) and the unit size recommended (1, 1.5 or 2 units), and the time the game starts. The bet details also feature a link to the sportsbook offering the best odds for that particular wager at the time the email was sent. Occasionally (once during my 30-day trial) Wunderdog sends emails featuring an educational sports betting video from its “How to win at Sports Betting” masterclass series. If you’re the skeptical type and want to see positive results before paying, Wunderdog allows you to sign up for free pick emails by providing your name and email address.

Can I Trust Wunderdog Sports Picks?

Yes! After thoroughly reviewing Wunderdog Sports Picks, there’s no doubt in my mind the company can give you a valuable edge while wagering. There are a lot of snake oil salesman in the sports betting industry, but Wunderdog is one of the few pick providers out there who I trust to provide winning picks and great customer service.

The decision to purchase a pick service shouldn’t be taken lightly and sports betting comes with inherent risks, but if you understand those risks and are looking for a company with integrity to help you get to the next level, Wunderdog is an excellent choice. Wunderdog Sports provides picks for the following sports: NFL, NCAA Football, NBA, NCAA Basketball, WNBA, NHL, MLB, Horse Racing, Soccer, Fighting, Golf, and Soccer.

How do I review Pick Services?

A lot of product reviews on the internet are whipped up overnight without much heavy lifting. I take my reputation in this industry seriously and will only vouch for pick service providers operating with integrity, so my process is intentional and some might say, “intense.” Prior to writing each review, I spend time “secret shopping” as a customer, while reading analysis and grading picks on a daily basis. I also schedule interviews with a relevant member of their team to better understand how they operate and how they get their edge. Finally, I ask each provider to complete a detailed survey which helps me assess their self awareness and if their perception of their service matches my experience as their customer.
