The last WWE pay-per-view event before SummerSlam goes Sunday in front of the tough-to-please wrestling audience at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
This also marks the first PPV since Paul Heyman took over the creative responsibilities of Monday Night Raw (thank you, Mr. Heyman, for bringing Gallows and Anderson back to us), so it’s exciting to see what comes of this final event before SummerSlam in Toronto.
Sportsbook Sportsbook has released betting odds for all of the confirmed matches on the card, so let’s look at them below:
Ricochet vs AJ Styles
Both AJ Styles and the relative newcomer, Ricochet, consistently have the most entertaining matches on any card they’re involved in, so this should steal the show in Philadelphia on Sunday.
Ricochet is the betting favorite at -150 but I wouldn’t count out Styles at +110 with the backing of The Club.
Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch vs Baron Corbin & Lacey Evans
I see absolutely no way that WWE allows its two biggest champions to lose to two characters that cannot “get over,” especially on a secondary pay-per-view.
From a creative perspective, I can see Vince McMahon wanting to give the win (and the titles) to Corbin and Evans, but if they pulled that stunt in Philadelphia, there might be fire and riots.
Roman Reigns & The Undertaker vs Drew McIntyre & Shane McMahon
This is one where I can see the underdogs cashing for bettors as the No Holds Barred stipulation allows the underhanded trickery of the heels to get one over on Reigns and The Dead Man.
It’s quite possible that WWE will use this match to set up a SummerSlam match involving the Undertaker and use him losing in this spot as the precursor.
Below, you can find the odds for the rest of the card, airing on the WWE Network:
