The biggest wrestling spectacle of the summer is set to take place this Sunday at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada for WWE SummerSlam. All four of the major championships are on the line in this pay-per-view event.
Will all the champs remain the titleholders after Sunday night or will some of the belts change hands? I have a breakdown and a pick for each of the main title fights for SummerSlam.
Brock Lesnar (C) vs Seth Rollins
The Universal Championship has changed hands between these two wrestlers twice already this year and could a third time be the charm? Lesnar carried the belt into their battle at WrestleMania, but Rollins got the better of him and won the title. However, a well-timed cash-in of the Money in the Bank contract by The Beast at WWE Extreme Rules saw him reclaim his belt after Rollins had a grueling mixed tag-team match.
The Architect survived an All-Star Top 10 Battle Royal on Raw following WWE Extreme Rules to get another crack at Lesnar at SummerSlam. I find it hard to see the title changing hands for the third time in such a short period so I think that The Beast will remain champion Sunday night.

Becky Lynch (C) vs Natalya
After Lynch ended the feud with Lacey Evans after winning the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank, she then retained the title over Evans at Stomping Grounds and made it three in a row in a mixed tag-team match at Extreme Rules. Following that pay-per-view event, a new challenger emerged when Natalya won a fatal four-way elimination over Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Carmella to become the No. 1 contender.
Natalya trained in the Hart Dungeon and believes her submission skills are better than The Man’s and that’s why this bout is a submission match. The two wrestlers attack different parts of the body for their finishing moves, with Lynch using an inverted armbar called the Disarm-Her and Natalya demonstrating an homage to the Hart family with the sharpshooter. The Man is riding a tremendous wave still and she will retain her title at SummerSlam.

Becky Lynch | -300 |
Natalya | +200 |

Kofi Kingston (C) vs Randy Orton
The crowd favorite, Kingston, finally broke through at WrestleMania 35 to win the WWE Championship for the first time. He has made five title defenses since then and appears to be an unstoppable force that the crowd is 100 percent behind. However, over that span, Orton pinned the champion at a SmackDown Live that paved the road for this bout.
Kofi earned a victory over Orton 10 years ago and believes at SummerSlam he can win again and make his sixth title defense. That being said, destiny may rear its head as The Viper became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion at this very event, at this very venue in 2004 and I think history will repeat itself and there’s value on the underdog.

Kofi Kingston | -200 |
Randy Orton | +150 |

Bayley (C) vs Ember Moon
A somewhat anti-climactic buildup for the SmackDown Women’s Championship bout between Bayley and Ember Moon. Bayley won the Money in the Bank match and cashed in her contract to win the title after a dust-up following the Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch title match. She has made two title defenses since. Meanwhile, Moon returned from injury at WrestleMania 35 but hasn’t had many victories over this recent span.
However, Moon and Bayley teamed up in a tag-team match in July and following the bout, Bayley picked Moon to be her No. 1 contender to wrestle at SummerSlam. Again, a poor storyline heading into this match. It would be shocking for Moon to get the win here so I expect Bayley to retain her belt.

Bayley | -200 |
Ember Moon | +150 |
